Here's what we do with your donations
All profits from the sale of footballs go to children’s charities that support the well-being of children in Africa, notably those supporting children who are:
- notably to help those infected or affected by HIV/Aids;
- those suffering from malaria, TB or polio;
- victims of drug or other abuse;
- living in difficult circumstances, eg: by helping to supply clean drinking water.
In selecting charities, where possible we take advice from local professionals and workers to ensure that the donations are appropriate, relevant and properly applied.
In addition, we are also often given football clothing and kit, which we distribute through our local contacts. Please contact us if you can help
Charitable funds distributed
Although we have made donations to large established charitable organisations such as Starfish, we prefer to help less well-known groups, either by purchasing and donating items they require or by giving funds provided the organisation is a registered N.P.O./Not For Profit organisation with a designated bank account.
The trustees have visited and vetted many of the smaller charities we have supported. We have also assisted schools in the Cape and KZN with footballs and occasionally other equipment they need.
